RAMAYANA MONTH & FOOD EXPO

India is the land of great cultural heritage. The puranas and ithihasas are sacred texts of Indian culture. In order to make the young generation feel proud of the ancient civilization and rich culture of our country, we celebrated the Malayalam month of “Karkidakam” as Ramayana Month. Painkulam Narayana Chakiyar, a famous koodiyattam artist, narrated the story of Ramayana to our students. Various competitions like Ramayana chanting, story narration based on the Ramayana, fancy dress competition, etc. were conducted.

In order to create awareness regarding living in harmony with nature, a Food Expo was conducted on August 9th where the students presented a lot of food items like uluvachoru, marunnukanji, various varieties of ila-thoran, etc.
