Amrita Vidyalayam Cheruthuruthy celebrated Environment Day with our tiny tots. The children were asked to wear green clothing, and an assembly was conducted. A teacher explained the importance of saving the environment, and students promised that they would not pollute the environment. Speeches on Environment Day were also delivered by Vedika of Std II and Satvik of UKG during the assembly. Students were taken for a ‘Nature Walk‘, and the Principal explained the importance of a few trees to them.
The children actively participated in making paper craft work. They made trees with ice cream sticks and paper, and a palm embossed tree. They chanted slogans related to Environment Day.
